Appointment Cancellation Policies
Our goal is to provide the highest quality of medical care for your pet in a timely manner. In order to do so we have implemented an appointment cancellation policy. This policy enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients that are in need of medical care.
Scheduled Appointments
For a scheduled appointment please call our clinic at 817-267-4672. If it is after hours, please leave a message on our answering machine and we will get back to you the next business day and assist you in scheduling your pet’s appointment.
You may also send us an email appointment request and/or sign up for a Pet Portal, which will allow you to request an appointment online. These two methods can be accessed through our website homepage at: www.advancedanimalcarecentre.com

In order to be respectful of the medical needs of other client’s pets and Advanced Animal Care Centre, please be courteous and contact our hospital in advance.
If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, please contact our hospital within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time.
Appointments are in high demand and your early cancellation will give another client the possibility to have access to timely medical care for their pet.

Late Cancellations
Late cancellations will be considered as a “no show”
No Show Policy
A “no show” is someone who misses an appointment without canceling it within the required 24 hours prior to their scheduled time/day. No shows inconvenience those individuals whose pets need access to medical care in a timely manner.
Walk-In Patients
We realize that pet illnesses and accidents often occur unexpectedly. In an effort to provide the convenience of timely medical care we will make every effort to accommodate walk-in patients. However, patients that have a scheduled appointment time will be seen prior to our walk-in patients, unless our walk-in patient presents a life-threatening emergency situation.
Dental Procedures – Deposit and Cancellation Policy
Scheduling a Dental Procedure:
Dental care is in high demand and your early cancellation will give another client the possibility to have access to timely dental care for their pet.
In order to reduce the number of “no-show” situations that occur, a $50.00 deposit will be required at the time of scheduling a dental procedure (via over the phone or in person at our clinic). This $50.00 deposit will be deducted from the final dental procedure cost at the time of check-out, when the pet is picked up.
If the deposit is taken over the phone, a credit card payment will be applied to the client’s account. Advanced Animal Care Centre will also require a written authorization from the client, in order to process a client’s credit card over the phone.
If the deposit is taken while the client is present in the clinic, a credit card payment will be accepted and applied to the client’s account.
Canceling a Dental Procedure:
If you need to cancel a dental procedure, please contact our clinic at 817-267-4672. If it is after hours, please leave a message on our answering machine. In order to have your $50.00 deposit refunded, Advanced Animal Care Centre must receive your cancellation notice 48 hours prior to your pet’s scheduled dental procedure (via phone conversation with our clinic, email and/or via our answering machine).
Upon notice of cancellation, you will receive a cancellation number, you will be refunded your deposit amount and within 24 hours, you will receive a cancellation email from Advanced Animal Care Centre. If you do not receive your cancellation email within 24 hours, please contact our clinic at your earliest convenience.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to be refunded for your $50.00 deposit, please retain your cancellation number. The cancellation number is a unique number that will correspond specifically to your cancelled dental procedure. Any client that does not have their cancellation number will not be refunded their $50.00 deposit.
