Jana Bryant , DVM |
Jana
Bryant has pursued the goal of being a veterinarian since the age of
6 years. Growing up in Arlington, Texas, she always had birds,
rabbits, dogs, cats, ferrets, horses to “practice” on. In high
school she volunteered at a veterinary clinic until they hired her in
order to learn more about the medical care of animals. After three
years at Texas A&M seeking undergraduate degrees of biomedical
sciences and international studies, she was accepted into the Texas
A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bryant loves hiking and
hanging out with her very big Akita, Koda. She has a passion for
dentistry and geriatric medicine and is a sucker for rescuing
unwanted pets!

Austin Neely , DVM
| Austin joined the Advanced Animal Care Centre team at the end of May, after graduating from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, in 2007. He also attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate Biomedical Science degree, which he completed after being accepted to veterinary school in 2005. Being an Air Force brat growing up, Austin was unable to have a lot of animals. So when his father changed jobs and they were able to stay in one place for a while, the first words out of his mouth were “NOW can I have a dog?” This was the beginning of his dream to become a vet. He is originally from the DFW area and after graduation decided to settle here with his wife Shawna and their new precious daughter, Ashlynn. Dr. Neely has a 2 year old lab mix, named, Chloe and an 11 year old Lhasa Poo, named Tiki. Outside of work Dr. Neely enjoys running, fishing and spending time with his family. |

Karen joined our team in May of 2007. Before her life at Advanced Animal Care Centre, she was a stay at home mom for 5 years and finally decided to pursue her dream of working with animals. She is originally a Floridian at heart but moved to Texas back in 2002. Karen loves that she is continually learning something new everyday and is extremely dedicated to her job. We love Karen’s spunky personality and sunny disposition. She is always smiling and makes us laugh. Karen has several kids….however, 6 of them are “four-legged”. She has 7 cats and a black lab named, Sabrina. Karen also has two “human” kids, Calob who 5 years old and Nya who is 1 ½ old. Outside of work, Karen’s favorite hobby is sewing but most of all she loves spending time with her family. |

Amanda , Veterinary Nurse
|
Amanda moved to Texas from Missouri 3
years ago and after spending 2 years managing fitness centers in the
Dallas/Fort Worth area she wanted to seek something different. With
the support of her husband, Josh, and family, Amanda accepted her
position as a veterinary nurse at Advanced Animal Care Centre in
November of 2007. Not one day has gone by that she has not felt
challenged with something new and exciting. When Amanda is not at
work caring for others’ animals, she is at home caring for her 3
dogs: the loving Maggie, a 1-year old German Shepherd mix that was
adopted from the humane society; Morgan, a 1-year old pure bred
German Shepherd, and Maximus, an American Pit Bull Terrier puppy that
Amanda rescued one day at work because he was very sick.

Elmo

Hi! I am Elmo Bradford. I have been working at Advanced Animal Care Center since 1997. Dr. Bradford was lucky enough to adopt me in 1997 when I came in to the clinic with a broken leg. He fixed my leg and took me home to meet the rest of the family. I liked them a lot and we got along well so I decided to live with them. Now I work part time at the clinic as head of security. When my dad is out of town he leaves me at the clinic to keep an eye on things. Come by any time and I will show you around the clinic! |
